(Photo : YouTube) UFO researcher claims that the US Government covers up all the information about the presence and existence of aliens to protect the fossil fuel industry of the country.

The previous UFO sightings reported in the past decades may somehow be confirmed with the recent documents being released by Britain's Ministry of Defense. However, the said agency still denies "smoking gun" in the said files.

Files kept for almost 50 years were recently declassified by the Ministry of Defense. The said files contain most of the reported UFO sightings, including some high-profile incidents, such as the "Britain's Roswell."

However, despite the act of declassifying these highly sought files, the agency still claims that there is no significant evidence within the dossier. There is no conclusive proof concerning the existence of aliens on our planet that are buried within the said files.

"I think these files perfectly capture the wonder and fascination of the UFO mystery and show how MoD officials - myself included - struggled to make sense of one of the great mysteries of the modern era. Sadly, there's no 'smoking gun' in these files that will prove we've been visited by extraterrestrials, but there are plenty of intriguing UFO reports, as well as policy papers explaining how the MoD handled this subject," Daily Mail quoted Nick Pope, who was part of the Ministry of Defence's UFO project as saying.

Despite the advanced notice of the agency and its former personnel, many theorists still believe that more important documents are being held back by the government. The lack of formal media announcement by the agency upon declassifying the files somehow adds up to the prevailing conspiracy theories about UFO sightings and alien encounters.

Meanwhile, in another part of the globe, a new UFO sighting was reported. A UFO was allegedly spotted near Sooke Basin, a body of water on the southern end of Vancouver Island in southwestern British Columbia.

"I thought it was someone's drone, but couldn't see anyone around. It couldn't have taken more than 15 seconds to go around and across the basin. When it went down on the other side, I was yelling to my husband downstairs, 'Come quick!' and it just disappeared over the eastside," OakBay News quoted UFO witness Ann Talbot as saying.

With the almost clandestine release of UFO documents by a reputable government agency and the continuous reports of UFO sightings, one cannot help but ask about the truth behind such phenomenon. Nevertheless, things would still remain a mystery until someone or something comes forward to shed some light on such unidentified occurrences conclusively.
