The highly anticipated Nokia 9 smartphone may not arrive having some of its previously reported specs. HMD Global managed to make a change to the said Nokia Android smartphone.

Following the success of Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3, the high-end counterpart of such devices is expected to arrive in the Q2 of 2017. However, some changes were made to the said devices right just after it gained an FCC approval.

The first change to be expected is that the previously associated TA-1004 model has been changed into the TA-1012 model. Along with such model change, it has been speculated that the assigned memory to the former will be bumped up.

It can be remembered that Nokia fans were attracted to the reported 4GB of RAM to be incorporated in a Nokia 9 variant. However, latest updates suggest that the 4GB of RAM will be replaced by a much higher 6GB of RAM or 8GB of RAM.

Other important Nokia 9 specs would include its sim support. The TA-1012 will be a Single-SIM variant, according to Nokia Power User. Collated specs of the device online also suggest that it will have a 5.3-inch display, veering away from the currently trending huge screen displays.

Apart from the display, it is also to be expected that the said Nokia phone will sport the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. As for its camera setup, a 13MP Dual-Lens rear camera and another 13MP front camera will be showcased by the said device.

Similar to leading brand, the upcoming Nokia 9 variant now dubbed as TA-1012 model will also IP68 Water / Dust resistant. However, things should not be taken too seriously right now, for other changes may also happen similar to what happened to the TA-1004 variant that was reportedly dismissed.
