New updates for the "Spider-Man" PS4 game will feature pre-order details and possible alternate costumes for the web-slinger.

It seems that players can now pre-order "Spider-Man" in several retails store as Insomniac Games confirmed the announcement after answering several fan questions about the game. But, PS4 users will just have to wait for the game to be available in the PSN before its launch.

In addition, Insomniac Games tweeted an image of all the E3 awards that it won this year and encouraged fans to pre-order "Spider-Man" if they are planning to buy the game as it “helps Sony and retailers” keep a track of the demand.

Insomniac Games also reinterated that "Spider-Man" will be a PS4 exlusive game as it was published by Sony, so do not expect other versions of the game showing up on the Xbox One and PC platforms, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.

Meanwhile, Insomniac Games teased that "Spider-Man" PS4 will have several alternate costumes for Peter Parker to wear in the game.

However, the developers did not reveal what are the possible costumes available in the game. Fans are hoping to see the classic Venom black suite, Spider-Man 2099, Future Foundation or even Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider costume, IGN reported.

The new "Spider-Man" game will feature an experienced web-slinger as he patrols the city of New York and fights crime using a variety of combat moves, web action and stealth. Spider-Man can use his environment to his advantage and create some amazing action sequences using time place buttons.

Spider-Man will also face more classic villains in the game, joining the likes of Martin Li/Mister Negative and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. There are also missions that requires players to be Peter Parker and its map size is four or six times bigger than "Sunset Overdrive."

The new combat system of "Spider-Man" could also potentially rival or surpass the combat system used in Rocksteady Studios "Batman Arkham" game series, but it is still hard to say if Insomniac Games take on the 'Spidey' could be a different kind of success on its own. Not to mention, the possibility of Miles Morales being a playable character in the game.

The "Spider-Man" PS4 game will launch sometime in 2018 for the PS4 console.
