"Batman: Arkham Insurgency" is one of the big games that was a no-show at the recently concluded E3 2017, however, there is some good reasons for it. As it skipped the annual trade expo last week, many are now guessing that it will make its appearance at another huge gaming convention in August.

E3 2017 has now passed and gone but there was no sign of the hotly anticipated "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" during the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's presser, WB Games Live! It might have disappointed lots of expecting fans, but some game analysts supposed that Rocksteady Studios' next superhero title is not ready for official reveal just yet.

Besides, WB games is directing its full attention to another huge game, "Middle Earth: Shadow of War", a follow-up to the well-received "Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor". It appears the gameplay demo showcased a more epic and much improved sequel to the Middle Earth video game series that closed the show with a bang.

The sheer absence of "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" made the rest wonder if it is in fact becoming a reality or not. But it is noted how the franchise's past Rocksteady Studios reaped lots of accolades and acclaimed as best superhero game releases by far.

Thus, there is high possibility that the new Batman game is in development, especially if the leak from a WB employee is any indication. After its non-appearance, WB may have other events in mind and the next best platform to launch this AAA title is at Gamescom in August, so, fans should watch out for it.

According to latest leaks and rumors circulating online, "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will serve as direct sequel to Batman: Arkham Origins" in which it introduced a young and unrefined Batman fighting crimes in an expanded Gotham City.
