Insomniac Games has confirmed that "Spider-Man" PS4 will be teased at E3 2017. The game developer revealed the exact time that fans can see the brand new gameplay footage and perhaps, a release date announcement, too.

Insomniac Games has confirmed its presence at the annual trade expo, which will be attended by major game developers and publishers such as Sony, Ubisoft, Bethesda, Microsoft, Square Enix, Nintendo, and a lot more. E3 2017 is taking place in Los Angeles starting today, June 12 until June 15.

While in a discussion about this week's big event at the Coliseum, Geoff Keighly revealed this great news via Twitter when asked by fans wether "Spider-Man" PS4 will be showcased or not. Keighly said that the webslinging hero title will be joining the great lineup of video games that will be unveiled at E3.

The studio will be taking "Spider-Man" PS4 to the stage on Tuesday, June 13 at 4.30pm PST. It will give a glimpse at the behind-the-scenes in developing the newest webslinging hero's adventure.

It can be recalled that "Spider-Man" was first announced that it is in development as a PS4 exclusive game back at Sony's presser at E3 2016. But not much of the details have followed after that, so, many are anticipating to see a new gameplay reveal unfold soon.

Moreover, the game is yet to receive an exact release date and it is likely that Sony will announce it along with the new trailer. Rumor also has it that it will be launched before 2017 ends.

According to Insomniac Games, "Spider-Man" PS4 is an open-world that runs on the "Ratchet & Clank" game engine. It will feature Peter Parker as more experienced iconic webslinging hero who uses his parkour skills in fighting crime in New York City.
