'Diablo 3' DLC Update: Blizzard Confirms Patch 2.6 to Arrive with Necromancer Pack, 2 Character Slots, and More

Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that the new update 2.6 for "Diablo 3" will contain the highly anticipated Necromancer Pack along with some new cosmetics, character slots and other items. The game developer has just also unveiled a couple of intro cinematics for both female and male Necromancers.

The testing of Necromancer beta for "Diablo 3" for several months now and it is confirmed that the master of the undead will be coming with Patch 2.6, according to Blizzard. This patch will also bring in new cosmetics, two additional Stash tabs, a couple of character slots and many more.
 

In addition to this reveal, Blizzard Entertainment has also launched two intro cinematics. Each of the sneak peeks has introduced female and male Necromancers as they journey towards the Fallen Star.

It is the Priests of Rathma that keep a close watch and guard the cycle of life and death. However, when the Fallen Star starts to create an imbalance, the Necromancer is sent to put back the order using their own power of resurrection.

The Necromancer Pack will also include a slew of armor sets such as the Bones of Rathma, Trag'Oul's Avatar, Grace of Inarius, and Pestilence Master's Shroud. The Necromancer's abilities were also revealed in detail last month when the beta was launched.

Fans first discovered about the addition of Necromancer class to "Diablo 3" last year, right before Blizzcon 2016 from a leaked key art that hinted its imminent reveal at the event. Then, Blizzard officially confirmed the leak during the its Opening Ceremonies.

The release date of the Necromancer Pack for "Diablo 3" remains unconfirmed at this point. But the game developer said earlier that fans can expect in the second half of 2017. In the meantime, watch campaign's intro cinematics for the male and female Necromancers below.
