The world is always changing for the tech industry. Being on top requires more than what companies are bargaining for and it is applicable to Microsoft as well. Even though the tech giant has dominated the industry, competition is lurking within.

Many have compared Microsoft's products, some tech enthusiasts prefer the Surface Pro over the Surface Book while others wanted to opt for products created by Samsung, Asus or Lenovo.

Express reports that the fifth-generation Windows 10 powered tablet plays host to more than 800 new parts compared with last year's Surface Pro 4, but its best feature won't be available at launch, the manufacturer has revealed and after years of leaving owners of its tablets hunting for the nearest Wi-Fi network, Microsoft this week confirmed that the new Surface Pro will play host to integrated 4G LTE connectivity.

The upgraded slates have been refreshed both inside and out, with more power thrown into the mix alongside major battery improvements and according to Microsoft the tablet will now last 13.5 hours on a single charge, which is a massive 50 percent improvement on last year's Surface slates, reports the same post.

On a different note, New Atlas relayed that Microsoft has been busy rounding out its Surface line, most recently with new Surface Pro, successor to the well-received Surface Pro 4. To start with, these two machines have slightly different 2-in-1 form factors.

The Surface Pro is a tablet first, and it can be used with or without its Type Cover keyboard accessory, which is sold separately, while the Surface Book is also a tablet with a detachable, reposition-able keyboard, but for the most part, the tablet and keyboard are meant to be used together, though you can occasionally use it as a (huge) standalone tablet, the report added.

For the tech enthusiasts, it remains uncertain on whether the two products would dominate the market.  Since both products, the Surface Book and Surface Pro and flagship models of Microsoft, great things are still expected from them. For the rumors coming about, everything should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
