Recent reports regarding "Red Dead Redemption" are not boding well. There are claims coming about that the prolonged release date of the game franchise has caused setbacks for Rockstar Games.

In a post from Polygon, it shared how "Red Dead Redemption" is slated for release in the fall season, but that remains to be seen. Based on the press release of Rockstar, "This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans."

Previous Rockstar titles for PS4 and Xbox One, namely "Grand Theft Auto 5," launched first on last-gen systems and to make up for the delay, Rockstar Games promised fans of the Western action series two things: that there would be "more details about the game this summer" and a selection of new screenshots to check out.

Gamespot, on the other hand, relayed the aims of Rockstar Games and their desire to deliver unparalleled gameplay for "Red Dead Redemption." The news of "Red Dead Redemption 2" and its delay yesterday caused the company's share price to plunge in after-hours trading. However, it's performed strongly today, briefly reaching a new all-time high of $76.70, as noted by the same post.

For the gaming enthusiasts, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is set to come out for the fiscal year 2019 or it will come out sometime between April 2018 and March 2019. As for the rumors regarding the game, everything should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
