If reports are anything to go by, Sunflora, Sunkern, Bulbasaur, Jumpluff, Bellossom, Weepinbell and Hoppip currently have increased spawn rates.

Niantic Labs is reportedly giving "Pokemon Go" gamers a treat in the form of promotional codes. The codes can be exchanged for freebies.

At present, the codes are available for Android systems, BGR reported. Android gamers can input codes in the Poke shop to receive special items for free. No official announcements have been made by the video game developer.

It is important to note that the offer is available for Android only. Niantic said that Pokemon Go sometimes offers promotional codes through their special events and partnerships. Pokemon Go players can use these codes to redeem items such as Lucky Eggs, Lure Modules and Poke Balls.

To redeem the codes, gamers should tap the Main Menu. After that, they should tap Shop button. Then, players should enter the promotional code in the text field and Touch Redeem. A notification will come up to display the items added in the inventory.

Speculations are doing the rounds that players can use the codes to obtain Legendary Pokemons during large-scale events. Also, the codes could be handed to gamers who come at sponsored Pokestops.

Meanwhile, there is an ongoing event on Pokemon Go known as the Worldwide Bloom that lets gamers throughout the world to see an increase in spawn rates of grass-type creatures.

Pokemon Go gamers have until May 8 to take advantage of this boost. They can look out for second-generation and first-generation creatures to pop up. During the event, gamers can expect Pokemon such as Sunflora, Sunkern, Bulbasaur, Jumpluff, Bellossom, Weepinbell and Hoppip, Game Rant reported.

Various reports suggest that Worldwide Bloom just enhances the number of grass-type creatures that gamers will see in the wild and no other aspects of the game are affected.
