Sledgehammer Games will likely release a big reveal and first look trailer for "Call of Duty: WW2" this weekend, according to the latest update that is making the rounds online right now. Fans will then find out if the recent leaks that swirled in the past few weeks are legit or the game will be entirely different.

Reliable sources have reportedly tipped about a big official reveal happening this weekend and it possibly involves "Call of Duty: WW2". The game site has been sending cryptic messages via its Game Scoop Podcast

At 49-minute mark in the said video, Marty Silva of IGN teased: "Over the weekend, we will get some cool news and there will probably be a big thing happening next week." This scoop was then followed by a tweet by COD fan site that reechoed what was revealed in the video.

Seasoned gamers of the franchise can also perfectly recall that the timing is aptly right when it comes to announcement for a COD game. Over the past years, Activision has notably revealed the game preceding E3 and the NBA playoffs.

The first trailer for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" was streamed on May 2. The date fell quite around same date if an official reveal will happen for "Call of Duty: WW2" this weekend, between April 22 and April 23.

The popular source of leak and editor at Kotaku Jason Schreier also tweeted the same in response to a NeoGaf post on Twitter. His post reads:

It is noted that this set of tease of a big reveal trailer for "Call of Duty: WW2" happening this weekend does not confirm anything at this point until it comes from Sledgehammer Games or Activision. But it is obvious that the hints are saying the same thing, so, fans should be on the lookout for it as well.
