"Bayonetta," a seven-year-old console game, has finally arrived on the PC for the first time.

In Steam reviews, players claim that the performance of the game is very good as it runs smoothly on their PCs. However, a small number of players have complained of the game lagging and stuttering on their gaming computers which allegedly meet or exceed the minimum recommended specifications of the game.

A small percentage of reviews on Steam indicate that the frame rate drops during gameplay for some players who have sufficient hardware for the game's system requirements.  Right now, these players are waiting for a solution or a patch to fix the issue.

Given that PlatinumGames is committed to supporting the PC with its games, it is expected that it will address the issues with the PC port of "Bayonetta" soon.  Despite the minor problems with the performance of the game, the game itself is still well regarded and PlatinumGames has earned praise for its development of the port.

Many PC gamers were astonished when the game suddenly appeared on Steam.  With the massive number of console exclusive titles not being considered at all for release on the PC, fans were in disbelief that they would be seeing a PC port of their beloved game soon.

The release of "Bayonetta" on Steam was a pleasant surprise to the PC gaming world.  Not only was this a title that seemed would never be ported to PC but it was now released on Steam at an affordable price and seems to be a quality port with good performance, extensive graphics options, and solid mouse and keyboard support.

The stylish action game featuring the titular, witch who fights angels and demons, was developed by PlatinumGames under the direction of Hideki Kamiya.  The title was published by Sega and first released in 2009 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and then in 2014 for the Wii U.

The hack-and-slash game was a critical success, earning Metascores of 90, 87, and 86 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U editions respectively.  It did not sell as much as Sega expected, putting in doubt the development of a sequel, until Nintendo partnered with PlatinumGames to bring "Bayonetta 2" to the Wii U as an exclusive title.

So far, impressions of the PC port of the game have been very favorable.  To start off, players and reviewers view the affordable $19.99 price of "Bayonetta" as very attractive and a strong selling point.

Most comments have described the game as a quality port to the PC due to its performance which includes graphics configuration options and mouse and keyboard input controls.

Reviews of the game from players and media have been very positive.  Currently, the PC version of "Bayonetta" has a Metascore of 90 and a User Score of 8.7 on Metacritic as well as Very Positive user reviews on Steam from 1359 total reviews.
