Apple is under a lot of pressure these days because of its rival Samsung, which recently released the striking Galaxy S8 but the tech giant is not going down that easily as it prepares for the upcoming iPhone 8. However, a recent leak of sketches of the possible flagship smartphone has come up and a lot has received mixed reactions.

The leaked drawings were found in the Chinese form of Facebook which is Weibo, according to Trusted Reviews. The drawings of the front and back sides of the Apple smartphone were posted on Weibo by someone that goes by the name KK. The drawings were apparently made by a Foxconn employee who has already seen the final design of the Apple device, based on the report.

The one who leaked the sketches is known for having a decent track record when it comes to these types of things despite the sketchy report. The leak was made more convincing because it confirms one of the rumors that surrounds the anniversary iPhone.

It is considered as a controversial move, if Apple continues with this, the dual camera will appear in a vertical fashion at the rear part of the smartphone, according to iTech Post. This specific rumor started when iDrop made a report that someone at Foxconn stated that the upcoming smartphone will be dubbed as the iPhone Edition that will have vertical dual cameras instead of the usual horizontal.

The dual cameras that is arranged vertically is located at the upper left corner of the back of the smartphone. The report also stated that the camera will have 3D functionality and augmented reality capabilities, despite its undesirable design feature.

The antenna lines of the iPhone are now gone and will now be located at the four corners of the iPhone 8, according to the drawings. The sketch provided the lack of cutouts for the front camera which suggests that the camera will be rooted behind the screen which has been patented before by Apple, according to a report by BGR. The home button and Touch ID is also missing from the drawing. This suggests that it will be located under the screen.
