(Photo : YouTube) A massive ad banner for "God of War" PS4 confirms that the new game is Sony's crown jewel at its press conference at E3 in June.

Santa Monica Studio, the team working on "God of War 4", may have hinted a new feature to debut in the game. Also, the new title for the franchise will likely see a release date in Fall.

The studio's most recent job listing indicate that it is need of a Senior Multiplayer Programmer to join the team behind the development of "God of War" games. This new clue has consequently drawn speculations that the title will introduce a multiplayer feature.

"You are a multiplayer coder - that's your thing. You know both the back and front ends, and understand the tech and the architecture. And you want all players to have the best possible shared experience, because you are one of them," the post reads

When "God of War 4" or others refer to as a new "God of War" game was presented at E3 last year, it was revealed to be a single player. If this latest development is of any indication, this will apparently change.

But fans must note that there is also a pint of possibility that the studio's job post is intended for another IP, although it said that the successful candidate will be part of the team for the "God of War" games.  But while this piece of information remains unconfirmed, it is better to wait for the official details in the coming days.

In more news, as "God of War 4" is yet to receive a solid release date, a voice actor who's officially lending his voice to Kratos dropped a tiny hint that the game will likely its launch later this year.

In a recent Twitter update, Christopher Judge added in his account profile his involvement in the game. What is intriguing, however, is that he affixed 2017 next to it and unintentionally revealed its release date this year.

Since E3 2017 is a couple of months away, Sony Interactive Entertainment will be teasing everyone with a brand new gameplay trailer for "God of War 4". Until then, fans will find out if the game will indeed get their hands on the game before the year ends.
