Sony PlayStation 5 News: Two Variants With VR Headset; Released Together with ‘GTA 6’ [VIDEO]

Sony is reportedly preparing a big launch for the next-generation PlayStation console which is the PlayStation 5. According to reports, the upcoming console will be launched in two variants with a VR headset and will offer lifelike "GTA 6" gaming experience.

Gamers will need to wait a little longer for the PlayStation 5's release in the market. Even it was showcased at the E3 event, the console will not be launched anytime soon. Though it may be not good for fans but it is expected to come with numerous amazing new features.

It was deeply speculated that the GTA sequel will be launched along with the debut of the PlayStation 5. Rockstar games is reported to be currently working on "GTA 6" and possibly be released in 2019. Tech enthusiasts also said that it is highly to be true that Sony will wait until 2019 for a PlayStation 5.

The PlayStation 5 will be shipped along with a VR headset which is expected to have similar success of PS4 in giving a tremendous VR experience. The console will come into two technically better variants, according to a report by Heavy.

The PlayStation 4 currently delivers an appealing VR experience to the gamers and with its recently released update which rolled out 4k support to the device. Sony decided that it will not release the PlayStation 5 until 2019 because the company does not want an immediate counterpart to Microsoft's upcoming Xbox Scorpio.

The company is not going to follow the trend for mobile devices which is releasing an upgraded version of their device every year, according to Shuhei Yoshida of Sony. In the meantime, Sony could address some necessary issues that are happening to the PlayStation 4 Pro while waiting for the PlayStation 5 release. The performance might also be increased which includes offering a higher bandwidth, according to GameSpot.
