Just like with its predecessor, "Destiny 2" will be offering specific content first on PS4. Sony's official PlayStation YouTube channel has uploaded its own version of the new "Destiny 2" teaser trailer. It lasted for a few extra seconds to make way for a certain image, which apparently unveils that unspecified content is going to be exclusive to PS4 for a limited time.

The fine print on the said image says, "Timed exclusive content until at least Fall 2018." Moreover, it assures that people will be learning more about the content in question sometime this summer.

Note that "Destiny 2" does not have any release date as of yet. Activision previously slated it for a fall release, while a recent leak claimed that it will be out in September. Interestingly, the same leak indicated that the highly anticipated game will be having a beta that is allegedly available first on PS4.

With Activision's original "Destiny" on PS4 and PS3, they also had a similar arrangement with Sony to offer timed exclusive content. GameSpot details that since the game's launch, Xbox players have been forced to wait a year or more to access certain content. Some of which include multiplayer maps, Strikes, ships, and more. Additionally, Rise of Iron's exclusive content is not yet available on Xbox One.

"Destiny 2" is speculated to be released for PC in addition to Xbox One and PS4. If this would be true, then PC players may also be subjected to the aforementioned wait for "Destiny" content.

In other "Destiny 2" news, a teaser image of the game, which officially confirms its existence, was being posted on the game's official Twitter account while a teaser trailer has been uploaded today. The game is said to be having its proper reveal trailer which is set to come this Thursday, March 30.
