However, Murray explained that he is very "specific with his words" regarding "No Man's Sky" in the Xbox One and he was not sure if he was allowed say something about it in the first place. Having more powerful hardware does not mean upgraded textures or a higher frame rate as Murray and developers may or can fundamentally change the experience of what game is like in with better experience for the players, Daily Star reported.

Perhaps what is most interesting in the subject matte is that a Sony representative intervened before Murray could deliver an actual concrete answer to the question. According to the publication, it was suggested that the interview move forward, as the rep stated that there was nothing more to add on the matter.

In other news, Hello Games new patch 1.23 update has improved the the frame rate of "No Man's Sky" in the PS4 Pro console.

"No Man's Sky's" previous patch dubbed the "Path Finder" update may have a lot of game features and specs, but it had some in-game issues. Luckily, Hello Games found a way in the form of the patch 1.23 update.

PS4 users will enjoy the new patch 1.23 as it improved the frame-rate on PS4 Pro when running in 4K mode. Players of the PS4 version, even on the base console, can now also lock or unlock the frame-rate.

The people at Digital Foundry spent some time with the new patch and concluded that up to 5fps have been added to the 4K mode on PS4 Pro, making the frame-rate much more consistent at 30fps when locked in "No Man's Sky."

For HDTV owners, the 1080p mode produces “flawless” 60fps. As far as unlocking the frame-rate on the base model, Digital Foundry stated that some sections of the game actually ran at 60fps.

On planet surface, performance drops to 30fps at the lowest point, but generally manages 30-50fps. In this case, Digital Foundry recommends capping the frame-rate rather than suffering the drops, VG 24/7 reported.

"No Man's Sky" is currently available for the PS4 and PC platforms.
