Huawei P10 vs Huawei P9: P10 to be Only $45 Costlier than P9?

During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, Huawei had announced its new flagship smartphone, the Huawei P10. In Europe, the Huawei P10 will be costing at 699 euros ($746).

The Chinese online retailers do not know how much it will cost them as the official pricing for China is not announced. With the deposit of Yuan 999 (136 euros), they are now accepting the pre-orders for Huawei P10 smartphone

The variant with 4 GB of RAM and ]64 GB storage will be available for 699 euros (Yuan 5,190) in Europe. However, its pricing is not yet revealed in Huawei's home country, China.

According to the information provided by a distributor, the variant with 4 GB and 64 GB will be priced for 3,699Yuan (501 euros, $535). The another variant with 4 GB and 128 GB is said to cost 4299 Yuan (582 euros, $622).

The 4 GB / 64 GB Huawei P10 is priced only 311 Yuan ($45) higher than the Huawei P9.The latter is currently available for 3388 Yuan (460 euros) with the same configuration of 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The customers feel the company is still offering P9 at higher price even after the launch of P10.

The starting price at the launch for Huawei P9 phone was 3,699 Yuan (503 euros) that is 11 Yuan (euros 1.50) less than the new Huawei P10. According to a rumor, the variant with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage is likely to cost less than 5,000 Yuan (700 euros), GizmoChina reported.

The P10 phone features a 5.1-inch display with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while the P10 Plus sports a 5.5-inch screen with a quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The phone is powered by octa-core Kirin 960 chipset and Mali G71 graphics. It features a dual rear camera with a 20-megapixel +12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel front shooter. It also includes fingerprint scanner in the front.

The smartphone is water resistant and is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The phones are packed with 3,200mAh and 3,750 mAh (for the Plus) variant with fast charging support. The phone is available in Ceramic White, Dazzling Blue, Dazzling Gold, Prestige Gold, Graphite Black, Mystic Silver, Rose Gold, and Greenery, CNet reported.
