"FNaF World," the latest of the "Five Nights at Freddy's" series, had an early launch in Jan. 21. The game had been renowned for having meaningless release dates. Scott Cawthon, the creator of the franchise, ends up pushing the game out whenever it is ready. This so-called thing has worked out quite fine; however, gamers are complaining that "FNaF World" wasn't just ready, and Cawthon seems to agree.
As posted on Steam Community page, Cawthon expresses his regrets to his fans, and illustrates that many attributes of the game that should have been ready were not there for the launch. This is actually an announcement that he enjoys writing, but owes it to the community. He continues that he has always been accused of rushing games since "FNaF1," but he never felt that he'd release a game too early, until now.
"FNaF World" is a big exploit for the series, which has typically stuck to oversimplified controls that convey a tight horror experience. This is a new RPG game, with lots of attributes going wrong during the development.
Cawthon continues that the game should have included more features, which should have come with the release - features that he already knew, but unheeded and didn't apply. These are features that make you see abilities during the battle, or an inclusion of a stats page for the characters. These features are expected in an RPG game. Cawthon became too excited to show the things that were done, but neglected to consider the things that weren't.
He concluded the post assuring his fans and the community that "FNaF World" will be fixed. He says he is going to ensure that it is fixed, and that the game can be updated with the relevant features in the next few weeks. He apologized to the community since he said that he enjoyed and respected them. He also added that the next time this game is out, it will be running right.
