Platinum Games' "Nier: Automata" is debuting today and once again, the PS4 console is having a feast. Unfortunately for Steam users, the game will arrive on March 17 over a week after it releases on the console. Interestingly, the game is said to be the sequel of Nier and apparently a spinoff of the Drakengard series.

In a review by Forbes on the "Nier: Automata" game, it said "it is as good as anything Platinum has ever made, and the gameplay flows seamlessly between regular third-person action to sidescroller to a top-down point of view reminiscent of twin-stick action games."

Meanwhile, some redditors issued subtle warning on the "Nier: Automata" game especially in handling the download patch of the game. According to a reddit user named Hoshiko-Yoshida, he mentioned not to download the start the game unless the download is fully complete. According to the post, the issue has been noticed as early as February and could affect the progress of the player in the game.

Despite a day one patch for the game, the redditor said the problem still persists. He suggested that, players need to wait and let the game fully download in order to complete its patches. The post also mentioned some few setbacks on the "Nier: Automata" games and that includes getting stuck on black screen after completing the prologue. Another one is getting stuck on Weapons Dealer / Trader's Quest part.

Items that did not drop are usually fixed by the "nier: Automata" patch, but if players cannot communicate with the Weapons Dealer, the action of a fresh save maybe needed. Meanwhile, pod skins are unable to reach the key items, causing fans to get confused on where to retrieve them.

"Nier: Automata" releases today as part of PS4's exclusive games for March.
