'Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns' Mario-Themed Costumes, Xseed Games Confirmed DLC Will be Localized

It has been confirmed that the DLC of "Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns" will be localized and its characters have Mario-themed costumes. 

"Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns" will have a Mario crossover in its content and the publisher XSeed Games have released a video ahead of its official release next week.

Players are allowed to choose four different Mario-themed costumes including Peach, Luigi, and Toad, according to GameSpot. Each costume has its own peculiar buff. Mario would boost the player's running speed. Luigi is to boost the fishing skill. Peach can make friends with others quickly. Toad boosts stamina recharge.

"Trio of Towns" is the current game in the "Story of Seasons" series. The game is also known as "Bokujo Monogatari" in Japan. On the other hand, the western markets previously knew it locally it as "Harvest Moon" developed by Natsume, and it happens to be its 20th anniversary this year.  It is currently held by a new developer and Marvelous games will be released in the West as "Story of Seasons."

Meanwhile, the publisher of "Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns" was previously hesitant on how to continue with its DLC. Since the contents of the game have to be localized, Xseed explained that the DLC might be released, but as paid content, or not at all.

Currently, the publisher has released a statement that it is overwhelmed by the feedback from players, according to Siliconera. It announced that the game will be localized and will be released as DLC in North America.

The release date and the price are not yet confirmed. However, players are advised to wait for the announcement of its official release. "Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns" will be launched in 3DS on February 28.
