As part of its efforts to promote “Resident Evil 7," Capcom has released a trailer for the game’s banned footage DLC. The expansion is titled Banned Footage Vol. 1, and PS4 players are set to receive it on Wednesday, Feb. 1, earlier than Xbox One and PC players. The DLC tasks the player to escape a paranormal clan to survive.

“Resident Evil 7” was released recently, but many gamers have already completed the game. For that reason, many are excited to hear a new DLC will be available soon for all. The expansion pack brings the player trapped inside a house of strange people and the only way out of it is to face them. The trailer only runs for less than a minute, but it covers two and an extra chapter of the upcoming game.

One of the scenes featured in the trailer shows the player in a bedroom, and he must find a way to get out of a locked room. Another scene shows the player fighting for his survival just until the morning arrives. Lastly, the extra chapter shows a very difficult situation that the play must go through before the game ends. Unfortunately, the extra mode does not support PSVR.

To get a copy of the new DLC titled Banned Footage Vol. 1, players will need to pay $10 and $15 for Vol. 2. purchasing the game’s season pass for $30 will not only include the 2 volumes but also bonus contents offered in the future. Vol. 1 is already available for PS4 players while Vol. 2 will arrives on February 14. PC and Xbox One players can expect the two volumes to be ready for download on February 21.

If that is not enough, Capcom has promised to release a free DLC this Spring. Since the release of “Resident Evil 7” some days ago, the game has sold more than 2.5 million copies.
