Swipe has launched a budget-centric but powerful smartphone in the form of Elite Power. For a low budget price, it comes with a fingerprint sensor, Android Marshmallow, and a dual 4G LTE standby.
The Swipe Elite Power has a metal body that adds to its sophisticated look and sports a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security of the smartphone. The device will also come with a power packed 4,000 mAh battery that can last up to two days with normal use.
The display will also be a 5.5-inch HD Corning Glass with a 1.1 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 SoC. It will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB.
The device will come with an 8MP camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The device will run on the Android Marshmallow operating system out of the box but is expected to be updated to the Nougat in a few months. The dual LTE standby is also a promising feature for an entry-level smartphone.
The Swipe Elite Power is only available in a Space Gray color. It can be purchased via Flipkart. The device is only available in India for now, and it will come with pre-installed apps like Flipkart, Saavn, Opera Mini, and Dailyhunt.
Aside from Elite Power, Swipe has launched other devices such as Swipe Elite Star, Swipe Elite Max, Swipe Elite 2 Plus, and Swipe Konnect Plus.
It is still unknown whether the Swipe Elite Power will be made available outside India.
