Acer Launches World's Thinnest Convertible Laptop in India

Taiwan's Acer has launched "Spin 7," the world's thinnest convertible laptop, on Thursday in India boasting of a thickness of 0.43-inch.

The laptop weighs 1.17 kg and features a 14-inch touch display with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB internal storage. The display can be rotated 360 degrees into four modes; laptop, tablet, display, and tent.

Acer's newly released laptop was stylishly designed with a major focus on user's comfort and convenience. Spin 7's specifications are said to be widely different from other products as it offers a 14-inch full-HD IPS panel with 1920x1080 pixels of resolution. It also possesses an Acer Color Intelligence in its touchscreen that would allow users to adjust saturation, fully utilizing the product's color and brightness. On the top of that, Spin 7's display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Spin 7 can be tilted in any position in which the user feels comfortable. The laptop can also be converted into a tablet. The laptop also has Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity and eight hours battery life.

According to PC Mag, the Senior Director and Consumer Business Head of Acer India, Chandrahas Panigrahi, has said that they are happy to release the Spin 7 laptop, and the company would be doing the best that it can to focus on innovating gadgets and making them a lot more easy to use.

Considering that Acer has always focused on delivering industry leading innovations, the Spin 7 is a reflection of just that. Our top-of-the-line Spin 7 will allow consumers to enjoy extreme portability without compromising on performance or versatility," said Panigrahi.
