2017 Subaru Impreza Ready to be Rolled out

The 2017 Subaru Impreza is expected to be rolled out of its manufacturing plant in Indiana this month. The car is the first model to be manufacturers outside of the company's home country, Japan.

The decision to manufacture the 2017 Subaru Impreza in Indiana was made in response to the growing demand for the car. Due to high demand, car's manufacturer, Fuji Heavy Industries, decided to move its production to the United States, which in turn opened up thousands of jobs in the market. The new Impreza will be manufactured in Lafayette, Indiana, making it the first American-made Japanese car, according to Auto World News.

Under the hood, the upcoming 2017 Subaru Impreza has a 2.0-liter H4 engine capable of outputting 152 horsepower and 148 lb-ft worth of torque. It is available in all-wheel drive configuration. The car is rated 28 mpg for city and 38 mpg on highway.

The 2017 Subaru Impreza is the rebirth model of a widely loved Japanese car. Subaru made a handful of design changes both on the car's exterior façade and interior adornment. Just like previous models, the new Impreza is available in both sedan and hatchback design.

On the interior, the new Impreza sports the latest in infotainment technology. The car supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The car's touchscreen has a tiny NFC sensor underneath it which can connect to an NFC-enabled smartphone.

According to Auto Blog, the 2017 Subaru Impreza is available in four trim levels starting with the standard five-speed manual configuration, which costs $19,215. The Premium model costs $22,015 and sports the CVT standard, with upgraded suspensions and alloy wheels. The Impreza Sport costs $23,315 and offers Active Torque Vectoring technology. On top of the chain is the Impreza Limited, which costs $25,415. The Impreza Limited, including every options and upgrades available, will cost more than $29,000.
