The Shenzhen-based firm is said to have opted for an improved Optic AMOLED display for OnePlus 3T. Earlier there were reports that OnePlus might opt for a non-AMOLED display for its upcoming flagship smartphone. The device is likely to come with an LCD screen like OnePlus 3.

As per the latest leak, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor. It is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat-based OxygenOS out-of-the-box.

The smartphone would come with a 16 megapixels rear camera and an eight megapixels front camera. It would have 6GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with an expandable memory option via a micro-SD.

"We try to make the best Android flagships, and sometimes we do better than other times, but it's always been our pursuit to try and make the best flagship product," OnePlus CEO Carl Pei said in a recent interview. "I think when you do so, you automatically attract enthusiast users. Like, if we were to make a $100 smartphone, we probably wouldn't have gotten an enthusiast following."
