Google has boosted the capabilities of its VR paint app, Tilt Brush. The app now has a multiplayer mode, which will let the users interact with their friends.

The company released a trailer which highlighted the features of Tilt Brush.

Tilt Brush is a painting app which is specifically designed for the virtual reality environment. The app is made for the HTC Vive. It is presented in 3D mode, and this makes the process interactive. With the new multiplayer mode, the experience is likely to be taken to a whole new level. The new feature will allow the app to be used for collaboration.

Google elaborated that the company had been experimenting with the multiplayer mode on Tilt Brush for some time. It added that real-time collaboration makes the whole process seem more real. The new feature makes use of neon headsets for the identification of other users. It has various other tools such as a 'posable manikin,' a 3D virtual object which can be brought into the VR area.

Google is also planning to bring some other features to the app. One such possible feature is Portal Brush, which employs a camera to look into the real world. Another feature Zoetrope lets users turn static art into animation. Google has not announced any release date for the app, stating that it is fine-tuning it.
