Fassbender, the Oscar nominated actor, is reported to have said in the interview with Empire about the movie not being just a straight forward sci-fi film about travelling back in time. He went on to say about the inspiration he received from "The Matrix," and hoped that the movie can be much more elevated to exceed the expectations of the people. He also spoke about the DNA memory, which could elevate the film from being a basic fantasy piece.

Fassbender, who is to be seen in the movie "Assassin's Creed" as Callum Lynch, described that the elevations of the movie includes stunt guys jumping across buildings in Valleta, and a stunt man played by Damian Walters doing a 120-foot leap of faith without any rope into a bag. He commented about the film not being violent as the video game, but confirmed the action scenes to be on real locations and real sets.

In his interview, Fassbender also said about more excitement that will be experienced by viewers when on journey on board in a different way that could look more realistic. Going by reports about the movie, the entire plot revolves around Callum Lynch who is said to regain memories of his ancestor through a new technology. Directed by Justin Kurzel, "Assassin's Creed" is scheduled to be released on Dec. 21, 2016.

On other "Assassin's Creed" news, it is said that an "Assassin's Creed" game will not be released this 2016. Ubisoft announced that they would need to re-examine the game's franchise that's why they will not be releasing any "Assassin's Creed" for 2016.
