Those who are eagerly waiting for Xiaomi's arrival in U.S will have not have to wait longer. Its is slowly penetrating in the U.S. and Europe, but it is unlikely to make full-fledged entry in these regions this year.

At present, Xiaomi has managed to reach 30 different global markets in a period of six years. However, it has not made a full-fledged entry in the U.S.and European markets. Fresh information suggests that it will be soon establishing a Mi Home store in Athens, Greece, GSM Arena reported. According to Gizmo China, the company has also launched Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4 in Mexico

Xiaomi is not in a haste to arrive in the U.S. It does not have sufficient resources to customize Xiaomi devices for U.S. networks. Some companies like OnePlus and Huawei's Honor brand have entered the U.S and sold their devices directly to customers. Xiaomi does not want to adopt direct-to-customer strategy as it will be impact the brand's reputation as well as the relationship with the U.S. carriers. It is only waiting for the right opportunity.

In the last year, Xiaomi released the Mi MIX concept smartphone that amazed the world with its innovatve bezel-less design. In 2017, it has launched the Mi 6 flagship phone and Mi Max 2 phablet. It is rumored to launch more phones in this year such as Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, Mi Note 3, Redmi Pro 2 and Mi Mix 2.

With the year 2017 reaching its half, it does not seem that Xiaom will be coming to the U.S. and Europe in this year. The only option that is left with Xiaomi fans from these countries is to avail the desired Xiaomi phone through Chinese resellers like GearBest and AliExpress.
