Twins and Mom

A Twitter picture featuring a car selfie of twin sisters and their mother has confused social media after going viral on the microblogging service and being retweeted thousands of times. The photograph of the two high schoolers and their mom has the illusion of triplets because all three women have a youthful glow.

The caption of the uploaded Twitter image reads "Mom, twin, and me." Since the photograph was posted on January 28 it has been retweeted over 20,000 times and received over 29,000 Likes.

The picture was taken when the mother Tina Brown picked up the girls from school. Kaylan Mahomes first shared it with a friend, and then the car selfie quickly went viral.

Twitter users have sometimes used the hashtag #blackdontcrack. The expression refers to African-Americans with skin so smooth their biological age makes them look younger than their actual age.

The Indianapolis family members decided to double-down on the success of their viral selfie. They made an Instagram page to share more pictures of the trio.

On February 5, Friday the three women shared in an interview on HLM which young-looking lady was the twins' mom, according to KEYT. The 35-year-old mother appears in the far-left of the image.

After Brown was asked how she stays so youthful-looking with two 16-year-old daughters, the mother shared her health secrets. She drinks a lot of water and tries to remain stress-free.

The Indianapolis trio shares that they are often mistaken for triplets. Kaylan told HLM even some people she knows personally cannot correctly guess which one of the three is the mom.

Their second Instagram post gave netizens a key clue before the big reveal. The three ladies start laughing while posing for a photo when one realizes they were being videotaped.

The caption of the video reads: '"When your mom thinks it's a picture." It has the hashtag #whosthemom.

Brown told The New York Daily News that she and her daughters were surprised about the popularity of the picture, according to Today. She described the pic as a random photo of her picking up the teens from school.
