In his interview with GamingBolt, Wedbush Morgan's Michael Pachter stated there will possibly be a new IP, although, he is not certain what it will be. He also added saying that Sony will definitely focus on third party, but he is expecting something new.

This statement from Pachter's is noted to have agreed with the latest buzz that a lot of Japanese publishers that had been after making money in the mobile games market now plan to return to the PS4, VG247 reported.

Speculations are rife that a host of big video game franchises from third-party developers will be showcased at E3. For one is Capcom's "Devil May Cry 5" that is is hotly tipped to debut at this year's trade show.

"I think a lot of Japanese developers lost their way chasing the mobiles games yen, if you will, but they're coming back to console in a major way," Shawn Layden, President of Sony Interactive Entertainment America said. "And speaking of, we'll have some big announcements at E3 in that precise vein."

With regard to the first-party new IP, many believe that it could be "Bloodborne 2" that Pachter is talking about. However, game developer From Software is said to have various new titles in development as well.

It is already confirmed that the PS4 heavyweight title, "God of War", will have a huge presence at Sony's press conference. The presser will also see other titles like "Days Gone" and "Spider-Man" but fans have yet to see for themselves if the surprise announcement of "Devil May Cry 5" will truly happen.
