Google Senior Vice President of Hardware, Rick Osterloh, has already announced that a Pixel 2 will arrive in this year. Osterloh said, "There is an annual rhythm in the industry. So, you can count on us to follow it," He also added, "You can count on a successor this year, even if you don't hear a date from me now," According to the reports, Osterloh also stated the upcoming Pixel 2 would hold its premium price.

Google Pixel 2 is also speculated to be following the trend for curved OLED screens and minimalist design, as reported by Forbes. The leak was exposed by Weibo via recent renders. In addition, the phone is also expected to come with dual camera setup, with 16MP on the back and 8MP on the front. The Pixel 2 will be focusing on low-light photography. Google's new devices for this year will run Android O out of the box.

Specs-wise, the upcoming Pixel 2 will come and to powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835. As the following trend, the phone is also expected to be waterproof and very different in terms of look and feel. All told, Pixel 2 is expected to take the wraps off sometime around September or October, just like last year. There's no word on its official pricing yet, however, considering the specs, it is safe to assume that the upcoming Google 2 would at least carry a price tag of $699.
