New Destiny 2 gameplay to be revealed at E3 2017 event this month.

The latest updates for "Destiny 2" will feature more weapon mods, power ammo, skins and E3 2017 appearance.

It seems that Bungie will be making their presence known at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo event this month as they announced that they will showcase the Arcstrider Hunter subclass in a new "Destiny 2" gameplay.

"Destiny 2" will showcase three new subclasses for the main character class in the game. These are the Dawnblade Warlock, the Arcstrider Hunter, and the Sentinel. Unfortunately, only the Dawnblade was available for any hands-on sessions of the game, but gaming fans will have the opportunity to play the latest subclass in E3 2017.

The Arcstrider is the new Arc-based subclass for the Hunter in "Destiny 2", replacing the Bladedancer subclass from the first game. Virtually nothing is known about the subclass’s abilities, including its perks in "Destiny 2‘s" new “build” system. But the Arcstrider’s Super will him/her summons a staff emblazoned with Arc energy and lets the player engage enemies in close range melee combat with acrobatic attacks.

Aside from the Arcstrider debut, gaming fans will expect more gameplay demos of "Destiny 2" from Bungie and hopefully, give out more information about the sequel, Gamerant reported.

In other news, it seems that "Destiny 2" will have more details regarding weapon mods, ammo and character skins.

YouTube channel Arekkz Gaming point out several interesting things how "Destiny 2" weapons work as th weapons system makes use of kinetic, energy and power weapon slots instead of "Destiny 1’s" primary, secondary and heavy. Also, some of the old secondary weapons have been changed over to power weapons.

Players who were able to play "Destiny 2" during the reveal event noticed a mods slot when inspecting their character’s inventory. The Mod option was blocked out, so at this point, any information on what could be slotted in that section is in conjecture.

Weapons skins have been a requested feature for quite some time and gaming fans will likely get their wish in "Destiny 2." While players could change the looks of their swords and boomsticks with Ornaments, it would be a fun option to extend these beyond the Exotic category. Something akin to Shaders which could be enabled and disabled would be a welcome addition.

Project lead Mark Noseworthy announced a new addition to the weapon Foundries, Veist. This group will be joining manufacturers Suros, Omolon, Tex Mechanica and Hakke. Veist weapons will sport a neon green and dark green paint job, and at present, the weapons maker will offer four options. Only three were available during Arekkz’s gameplay bideo and these were the Red Mamba-3MG submachine gun, Urchin-3SI sidearm, and the Naddodd-D grenade launcher.

Lastly, when it comes to Power Ammo, they will be featured in "Destiny 2's" new Crucible. Instead of the entire team surrounding the chest and being handed the contents, the person who picks the chest up first will get the goodies, VG 24/7 reported.

"Destiny 2" is set to launch on Sept. 8, 2017, for the PS4 and Xbox One, while the PC version will be release at a later date.
