The latest updates for the new "Need for Speed" 2017 sequel will feature a new trailer, release date, pre-order cars and a Deluxe Edition.

Electronic Arts and Ghost Games officially announce the new "Need for Speed" sequel this year for the console and PC platforms. Dubbed "Need for Speed Payback," EA stated that the new game will be an explosive adventure" filled with heist missions, high stakes car battles, epic cop pursuits and jaw dropping set pieces. The new game takes inspirations from that of "The Fast and The Furious" films, "The Crew" and "Grand Theft Auto" in a sense.

The trailer of "Need for Speed Payback" will feature three playable characters as they take down "The House," a “nefarious cartel” that runs the game world’s casinos, cops, and criminals. Gamers will have the most customization ever for a Need for Speed game, which is great news for those who were fans of the customization available in the "Need for Speed Underground" series.

While the gameplay is impressive and will surpass the 2015 remake of the game, EA seems to focus on more storyline detail as executive producer Markus Nilson explained that he will be bringing together all the elements from the previous "Need for Speed" titles in an all new blockbuster driving experience. From the story, different characters, to the varied missions and edge-of-your-seat moments. This is his and the publishers vision for what action driving entertainment means today, Gamerant reported.

EA also announce some pre-order features for players when they decide to buy "Need for Speed Payback" this year as the sequel's Platinum Pack will contain five customise cars.

These include the Nissan 350Z 2008, Chevrolet Camaro SS 1967, Dodge Charger R/T 1969, Ford F-150 Raptor 2016 and Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport 2016.

Gamers can also order the "Deluxe Edition" of the sequel as they can gain access to it three days early on Nov. 7. There will also be a special license plate, discounts, rep bonuses and the five vehicles from the Platinum Car Pack.

And if players want to play the game even earlier, they can use EA Access and Origin Access from Nov. 2, clocking up 10 hours of play with the Play First Trial, VG 24/7 reported.

EA and Ghost Games will have more time to explain the full details of "Need for Speed Payback" as the sequel will have an appearance in this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo event.

"Need for Speed Payback" will launch on Nov. 10 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
