The unstoppable growth of technology has indeed created a huge impact to the human race; some might say that it was through this advancement that lives were improved while others would disagree.

However, following this technological advancement, one of the world's brilliant minds is already warning that humans should actually be more concerned in planning for the ultimate escape before total extinction happens. Stephen Hawking, a renowned physicist has recently claimed that the human race has roughly got 100 years until planet Earth becomes a hostile place if efforts in finding a new habitable planet will not be hastened.

100 Years To Doomsday

Despite the fact that much of humanity's concern toward the ravages mankind has inflicted upon it, Stephen Hawking highlights that if humans are to survive as a species, mankind should start inhabiting other planets in the universe. During his talk held at the Royal Society in London, U.K., Hawking elaborated on his alarming forecast. He claimed that mankind is running out of space on Earth and there is a need to break through the technological limitations which prevents humanity from living elsewhere in the universe.

Furthermore, it was found that the 75-year old Professor Hawking will allegedly attempt to prove that his theory isn't as crazy as it seems. Accordingly, with factors such as climate change, overdue asteroid strikes, epidemics and population growth, the professor believes that planet Earth is becoming increasingly precarious.

That said, in his newest BBC documentary entitled "Stephen Hawking: Expedition New Earth," Hawking will reportedly enlist engineering expert professor Danielle George and his own former student, Christophe Galfard. This comes after his mission of finding out how humans can reach for the stars and move to different planets.

Ultimately, it was found that Hawking's documentary will be split into two 60-minute programs.
