Zombie Apocalypse: The Inevitable Truth; Here’s Everything You Have To Know

A recent study claims that there is a possibility that a zombie apocalypse could cause the extermination of human race. That said, a team of researchers have recently come up with a new complex formula which calculates that within 100 days of a zombie outbreak, just over 100 survivors will be left uninfected. Students from Leicester University have allegedly devised a mathematical model that has the ability to estimate how the infection will spread through a population over time.

Surviving The Zombie Apocalypse

On a lighter note, an increasing body of research has recently claimed that games that involve rules, points, systems, as well as a theme or storyline can be of great help to the people, should the time come. Dubbed as "Gamification," experts have claimed that the method has already been practiced to teach skills to nurses, as well as in wider health settings. In addition, at a psychological level, it was found that there are multiple competing signals trying to access the discordance between goals and actual behavior, called the "intention action gap."  In turn, gamification is potentially seen to close the said gap because, successful learning requires a person to set goals and then achieve them over and over again.

Meanwhile, the Leicester University students explain that despite having some interesting results, the data they used is not perfect. It was found that in October last year, researchers looked at how UK citizens were preparing for the said zombie apocalypse, however, it has seemingly looked like they were going wrong. Additionally, UK Space Agency research fellow, Professor Lewis Dartnell, who's based at the University of Kent suggested that should the apocalypse happen, people should be heading to the beach the supermarket, or a golf course. Ultimately, for those who will be able to survive the apocalypse, the research scientist and author says that electricity, soap, charcoal, a lathe to craft things with, and glass are the most important things to make.
