Ubisoft working on "Assassin's Creed: Empire" now called "Assassin's Creed Origins" and will likely launch this year.

Ba Yek in the photo sports a shield and a bow in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" and he will be a slave in the early parts of the game before he became a member of the Assassins.

Not only that, it the "Assassin's Creed: Origins" also confirms the ancient Egypt setting due to the some of t-shirt merchandise sporting the Eye of Horus centered on the "Assassin's Creed" logo, IGN reported.

It seems that Ubisoft plans to reveal more game details for "Assassin's Creed: Origins" next month during the Electronic Entertainment Expo event and more rumors state it will contain a “a vast open world” chronicling the origin of the Assassin’s guild.

So far, "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will feature a new trilogy storyline similar to Ezio's story and a piece of Eden is used during the Exodus and the crossing of the Red Sea, playing into the whole overarching mission of the modern-day missions. It is set between 1400 and 1200 BCE, during the Dynasties.

Gamers can now control the eagle in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" to scout areas and a new Modern Day hero and already trained Assassin. Modern Day is more like "Assassin’s Creed 3’s" with bigger areas and more character interaction. It does more to highlight the fact that Assassins and Templars still exist and are having a big impact on the world.

The rumored naval combat for "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will not be added, but gamers can travel by boat to different areas even the Easter Mediterranean. Combat has been reworked as enemies have different attack patterns and will actively try to flank players similar to "The Witcher 3."

Stealth is much more integrated in the sequel as players can hide on corners, in crowds, in buildings and in bushes/haystacks. A mix of "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" and "Unity’s" stealth, but much better thought out and implemented. Social stealth is emphasized a lot in the game and players will be blending into crowds and with groups of slaves an awful lot.

Free running is the same as Syndicate/Unity, though it adds in some of the flair from "Watch Dogs 2," but a lot smoother and more fluid. The engine used in the sequel is a revamped version in "Syndicate," but it is drastically different from the previous titles.

Skills in "Assassins Creed: Origins: are done in a talent tree. However, the differences between the skill trees are drastically different and players can only ever have a certain amount of skills active at one point. One tree is Combat, another for Stealth and the final one is Movement.

Lastly, it is hinted that "Assassin's Creed: Origins" could launch in the PS4 during Ubisoft's fiscal year, which started at April 1 and will end on March 31, 2018, VG 24/7 reported.

Gaming fans will just have to wait for more details of "Assassin's Creed: Origins" next month at E3 2017.
