"FIFA 18" may still be months away from its release in September this year. But there is already an uproar from fans of the franchise online as a leaked footage of two Russian commentators could be hinting former Brazil striker Ronaldo to return in the franchise.

A leaked footage via report on Reddit has allegedly showed two Russian commentators recording dialogue for the new game. They mention "Ronaldo" and his fascinating Barcelona stint, according to Express Online.

This would rule out Cristiano Ronaldo, however. He began his senior club career for Sporting Clube de Portugal, and later at Manchester United and Real Madrid.

The Brazilian born Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima or commonly called Ronaldo moved to Barcelona from Philips Sport Vereniging (PSV). He scored 34 goals in 37 games for the club, winning the La Liga top scorer award in 1997.

If the news is true, the only downside here is that it will be available for FIFA Ultimate Team Legends that is exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360. Fans of the franchise will likely find out more of this alleged leak during the EA Play event at E3 gaming expo in June.

Those who attend EA Play will be able to try new releases likes "FIFA 18". If lucky enough, they may also see the unveiling of a selection of brand new games.

Meanwhile, an alleged leak early this month showed Paul Pogba as the new cover star for the game. But until now, there is no official word from EA confirming or denying the report.

As per Game Reactor, the "FIFA 18" video that leaked online shows some of the game's new features. It further shows Paul Pogba as its new cover star.

"FIFA 18" is expected to be out for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. FIFA Ultimate Team is a mode in the game that enables players to build teams using any football players from all the leagues is exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360.
