The BlackBerry KEYone is the latest smartphone comeback story of this year - although the company behind it is TCL Communications. BlackBerry phones are known as the most secure Android phone and sport a physical keyboard with a modern twist.

Great Performance

The KEYone is not quite high-end compared to phones like the Galaxy S8 and Pixel. However, the device's midrange specs which include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage is more than enough to power through 3D graphic intensive games.

Impressive Features 

The KEYone is an impressive throwback that measures up to vintage BlackBerry strengths, in a more modern package. It is powered by the Android Nougat operating system, with up-to-date features such as the Google Assistant. The 6.35-ounce device is built of solid anodized aluminum and has an easy grip rubber back.  It stands as tall as the Apple's iPhone 7 Plus. In addition, the KeyOne comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera and an eight megapixels front snapper for selfies.

The Physical Keyboard

The QWERTY keyboard is a quite convenient. Although typing is slower, it is more accurate. The real function comes from its shortcuts and scrolling; the keyboard is integrated with a touchpad for gestures and swipes, taking short and long press gestures to launch commands or apps

The space bar can also be used as a fingerprint sensor like most Android devices. This could be the fastest fingerprint sensor used on a smartphone as it's way faster than Apple's iPhone 7's Touch ID and Google's Nexus Imprint.

BlackBerry is known for its emphasis on secure communication and claims the KEYone is one of the most secure Android phones in the market. Noteworthy, this device is even secured enough for government use.
