The latest details for "Assassin's Creed" Empire" will feature the sequel's official title, two protagonists, Naval battle and a huge open-world map.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding the new "Assassin's Creed" sequel as the as an in-house Ubisoft sources claimed that "Assassin's Creed: Empire" will be called "Assassin's Creed: Origins" and the game will still remain its Egyptian plot and setting.

According to the source, "Assassin's Creed: Origin" will not only include Egypt as setting, but also expand beyond it. The game is said to be possibly reach as far as Greece, allowing the player to sail the Mediterranean and battle on the sea using the naval combat systems of past iterations in the franchise.

There is also a teaser trailer fot "Assassin's Creed: Origin" that features time jumps that also show different regions, including France during World War 2, a modern day Abstergo facility, and an Asian region without a time reference, Gamerant reported.

"Assassin's Creed: Origins" will have two protagonist similar to "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" and having a setting beyond Egypt suggest a huge open-world, possibly he biggest in the game series. This grants players considerably more freedom, featuring a greater emphasis on exploration over previous games.

The sequel's story is apparently much less linear than in the past, featuring a character progression system that has been compared to "Skyrim" and it has been in development for “at least” several years now, WCCFTech reported.

Past repors revealed that Swiss retailer website WOG placed the next Assassin's Creed" game on on the fourth quarter of 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and possibly the PC platforms.

While Ubisoft has not made a comment regarding its release date in the Swiss retailer, many gamers believed that it could be just a speculation on the website's part as a way to attract gamers to pre-order without necessarily knowing anyhing.

Perhaps Ubisoft plans a big reveal for the "Assassin's Creed: Origin" since E3 2017 draws closer on June 13-15 and gaming fans might find out more during the event.
