New updates for "Tekken 7" will feature the PS4 version running on 900p resolution and penalties for rage quitters.

It seems that "Tekken 7" will run at 900p resolution for the PlayStation 4 during Digital Foundry's report on the sequel and its virtual-reality gameplay. This means a softer image overall for PS4 users, who want to play "Tekken 7," but it was noted that the build being played was a “master.”

Noted that this still not the final version of "Tekken 7," it is possible that the overall quality is improved by the time game launches on June. One of the trade-offs of running at 900p resolution though is that the frame rate stays at 60fps, for the most part. PS4 Pro version details are not yet revealed so hitting 1080p and 60 FPS there does not seem to be impossible, GamingBolt reported.

Afterall, game director Katsuhiro Harada stated in an interview that there will be some noticeable changes in terms of graphics and encourage PlayStation users to go for it in the PS4 Pro.

While, Harada did not make any specific remarks for the Xbox Scorpio due to limited information, it seems that Xbox users will also have the same treatment as the PS4 Pro version when Microsoft reveal more information regarding the console.

In other news, Harada made several statements regarding the penalities for rage quitters when playing "Tekken 7" online.

Harada told GameSpot that he and the "Tekken" team are aware of what rage quitters can do, but has refrained from revealing too much information regarding the penalties for rage quitting for fear of hackers and modders coming up with a solution.

However, Harada and his team have already come up with plans for rage quitters and they might have been listening to gaming fans and researched on it to make "Tekken 7's" systems better.

Harada added how feedback from the arcade edition of "Tekken 7" proved vital in improving the “master” edition. One of the common complaints was regarding the character costumes, which many players thought that it did not feel as "fresh" as previous games. As a result, Bandai Namco made a lot of improvements to the cosmetic options in the game.

"Tekken 7" will launch on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
