"Grand Theft Auto 5" taught Rockstar a great many things, and some of the lessons are bound to rub off on "Red Dead Redemption 2 's" development. However, "GTA 5" also taught Rockstar how to sell a game to maximum effect and the staggered release schedule really worked out for them.

While a common outcome was players buying the title twice, with some even bought it three times across all gaming platforms. First, the game launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, then a year later it arrived on the PS4 and Xbox one consoles and finally, another year later, it was released on PC, RDR2 reported.

This begs the question as Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive will practice the method on "Red Dead Redemption 2" in terms of launching their games?

Previous reports stated that a PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2" could happen thanks to a leaked HTML link from DRM providers. Denuvo Software Solutions, one of the many forms of DRM providers got hacked last month as a Rockstar game is mentioned on the list of leaked information, thus leading to gaming fans speculating that "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be coming to the PC platform.

There are also rumors that Rockstar Games could put the Rockstar Editor in "Red Dead Redemption 2", a feature that was exclusive to "GTA 5" in the PC version.

In other news, it seems that gamers online have ordered "Red Dead Redemption 2" for the PS4 very early after its announcement as Amazon announced that sequel is already sold out.

This possibly indicates that they have run out of all pre-orders allotted to them thus far. The Xbox One version of "Red Dead Redemption 2" is still in stock, however, the PS4 version is currently unavailable for pre-order, GamingBolt reported.

A new "Red Dead Redemption 2" game footage will be featured in the Xbox Scorpio. Microsoft will showcase the 4K resolution of the updated Xbox One console with several game titles such as "Forza Motorsport 7,"Star Wars Battlefront 2" and "Red Dead Redemption 2."

It remains unclear whether Microsoft will simply name drop "Red Dead Redemption 2" at the Xbox Scorpio event, or if Rockstar Games will use the highly publicized opportunity to reveal a new trailer to the gaming fans eager for any new information about the sequel.
