While there is no question that "Assassin's Creed Empire", as what it is known at the moment, is pretty much in development, no official details are known with regard to its gameplay since the time it was confirmed for release in the near future. However, the internet is chock-full with numerous leaks from several sources indicating the new features, changes and the game's next setting or its new protagonist.

Interestingly enough, a new leak courtesy of a prolific industry insider has again teased fans of something that they might get excited about or, maybe not. It appears that "Assassin's Creed Empire" could be a soft reboot, according to trusted gamer and credible leak source, shinobi602.

If the latest leak is anything to go by, "Assassin's Creed 2017" as a soft reboot could mean that it will feature a more independent story where new players will find it easy to get on with the game without being lost in the mythos of the series. The narrative structure is still founded but will no longer be cited in the game.

Meanwhile, as E3 2017 is just around the corner, a lot of gaming enthusiasts at hoping to hear exciting news about an all new game of their favorite franchise to debut at the prestigious event. One of most speculated titles under Ubisoft's belt is the "Assassin's Creed Empire" based on the leaked E3 games list revealed late last month.

On the other hand, Ubisoft remains mum on the development of "Assassin's Creed Empire". Fans have to cling on the possibility that it is already in full swing of production for a release date in the last quarter of 2017.

Ubisoft had notedly launched its past AC games in Q4 of each year. Apparently, it sounds as an educated guess for loyal gamers of the franchise that "Assassin's Creed Empire" will be available around fall this year. So, stay tuned.
