The New York Times has noted that the success of Instagram could be just like the success of Facebook. Instagram has changed the view of people about social media as it continues to enhance and improve interactive communication.

Currently, Instagram has almost double the number of users that Twitter has so it is not impossible to say it could turn out to be as successful as Facebook.

Instagram Stories appears to be one of the driving forces behind Instagram's unstoppable growth. The company is said to record at least 200 daily active users of the Snapchat-like feature. Also, Instagram's messaging feature called Direct is used by about 375 million people.
