The return of the Nokia 3310 to the market has been eagerly awaited by customers worldwide. Now, online listings have confirmed the price and release date of the retro-device.

After the hype and re-introduction of the legendary Nokia model, HMD Global remains silent about the 3310's price and release date. However, online retailers have revealed these details.

Online retail store OnlyMobiles has listed the Nokia 3310 with a price Rs. 3,899 ($61), according to Gadgets 360. The phone will be available in different colors such as Warm Red, Dark Blue, Yellow, and Grey.

It has also been revealed that Nokia 3310 will then be shipped out to buyers on May 17, 2017. Pre-orders of the said phone will begin on May 5.

Despite the revelation of the pricing and release details of the phone, HDM Global has neither confirmed nor denied the information.

"[It's] too premature to comment. We are still working through some of our plans," Express quoted HMD Global's statement on the matter.

The hype around Nokia phones was revived again after devices bearing the name of the Finnish brand were reintroduced with Android OS.

To keep up the momentum and revive customer loyalty, HMD Global announced its plan to introduce an improved version of the Nokia 3310. The device is packed with new features but will still retain some of its old iconic structure.

The latest model of the Nokia 3310 comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera a 3.5mm audio jack.
