The "CoD" box and marketing material which was uploaded via Reddit showcased the potential release date of the game along with important game details. The suggested release period according to the Australian source was somehow accurate according to some enthusiasts. There is a great chance that the assigned date is accurate since most release date of the game has been done during Friday, similar to that of the November 3 release period.

Moreover, another "Call of Duty: WWII" game detail also suggest that upcoming game release is preceded by a private beta. Access to the private beta will only be possible via pre-order of the game. Exciting new ways to interact and socialize will also be expected with the game, somehow suggesting more online, social-focused mode.

Meanwhile, the idea of the game reverting to old school warfare came after reports of the game developer not being happy about the result of their most recent release, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." The highly advanced space setting did not appeal to most "CoD" gamers.

"[I]t's clear that, for a portion of our audience, the space setting just didn't resonate. We have a passionate, experienced studio deeply committed to this direction, and despite the risks we saw, we believe it is important to consider the passions of our game teams in deciding what content to create," Game Spot quoted Activision chief operating officer Thomas Tippl as saying.

However, most of the details and leaks remain unofficial until the final big reveal. Therefore, reports about the game at the very moment should be taken with a grain of salt.
