The Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus was not announced alongside the Mi 6 phone on April 19. Hence, it is now rumored to launch soon and the rumor mill has already revealed its leaked specifications.

Xiaomi was rumored to launch Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus on April 19, but the latter was not unveiled. A Xiaomi smartphone with model number MDE40 has received China's 3C certification. This phone is speculated to launch as Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, Phone Arena reported. According to Playful Droid, well-known analyst, Pan Jiutang, the Mi 6 Plus may debut in around two months.

Leaked information has revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus would be coming with a full HD resolution supporting 5.7-inch screen. The inclusion of full HD on such a phablet may disappoint Xiaomi fans because most flagship phablets come with support for quad HD resolution.

However, a full HD screen on Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus can be beneficial for its users because the screen will consume less power and the phone will be available with a cheaper pricing.

The Snapdragon 835 chipset that powers the Mi 6 smartphone is also speculated to drive the Mi 6 Plus. Speculations have it that the phablet would be coming in RAM options like 6 GB and 8 GB. It will be available in internal storage sizes like 64 GB and 128 GB.

Like the Mi 6, its phablet variant is pegged to come with a 12-megapixel dual rear camera and an UltraPixel 8-megapixel selfie camera. It is likely to be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery. Speculations have it that since the Mi 6 is loaded with several Microsoft apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Skype, the Redmond giant may sell its Microsoft Edition on its online store.

Xiaomi is rumored to be working on several smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, Mi MIX and Mi Note 3. These smartphones are speculated to launch starting from the second half of this year.
