Here is the Android 7.0 N release news for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, S6 Edge, S6 and Galaxy J3 (2017).
According to many reports, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 owners in Canada have started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update.
However, only a few Canadian carriers have begun rolling out the Android update. SaskTel and Bell are the only carriers rolling out the new update for the Galaxy Note 5, Mobile Syrup reported.

Telus and Rogers are yet to start releasing the update. Both carriers are said to be testing the OS for compatibility. The latest update brings mini-conversation notifications, an updated keyboard, new camera effects, easier multitasking, and better battery management.
Meanwhile, Samsung has started the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat update to the Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 in India.
The 1.2GB update is currently being released for users of the two smartphones in India, bringing the Samsung Galaxy S6 up to G920IDVU3FQD1, and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge up to G925IDVU3FQD1, FoneArena reported.
The Android 7.0 Nougat update will include March security patches for Android in addition to the several improvements and additions.

Google has rolled out an upgrade to the Google Assistant that will enable owners to track the cost of flights and view a potential bargain. The service will send owners alerts when their specific journey is cheapest.
It is available on Google Home and mobile phones. According to Google, the feature will make it easy to find the travel information.
