The latest details for "Tekken 7" will feature possible names for DLC guest characters and cross-platform gameplay could still happen.

Game producer Katsuhiro Harada made a tweet to the gaming fans to help him get some ideas for guest characters in "Tekken 7's" roster. The sequel will feature two guest characters as part of its post-launch plans.

While Bandai Namco Entertainment has not yet announced the names, it seems that Harada will likely ask help from everyone outside of the company suggesting that gaming fans participate on the matter.

One fan suggested that Kazuma Kiryu from the "Yakuza" game series should be added to the "Tekken 7" roster, while avid "King of Fighters" player/fan Frionel26 pitched Geese Howard, a character previously hinted by Harada to be part of "Tekken 7," JustPushStart reported.

Twitter username motherphunker also suggested that Bayonetta should be part of the roster, while WWE Superstar Xavier Woods offered himself as a special guest character in "Tekken 7" and lastly for more obscure characters, Twitter username Setnomissej pitched "The Simpsons" Ned Flauders in the roster.

Gamers can purchase these DLCs online via use of "Tekken 7's" Season Pass, which also comes with 35 exclusive metallic costumes for each character.

In addition, character panels are also coming to "Tekken 7," as a free update to players on all gaming platforms at an unannounced time in the future. This update is a collaboration between various worldwide artists and Namco Bandai.

In other news, Harada state his opinions on the cross-platform gameplay feature in "Tekken 7" as he told gaming fans that it is no the developer's issue but rather a problem pertaining to console manufacturers and their security policies.

It will be up to Sony and Microsoft if they want "Tekken 7" to have the same cross-platform gameplay features as other video game titles. Gaming fans have been adamant about having cross-play feature, but the possibility is rather unlikely at the moment, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.

In addition, Harada that the cross-platform will not be a problem to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But when it comes to the PC platform, Harada explained that their might be security risk, as PC users can take advantage of other players on the console, thus "cheating" their way into winning online matches.

The risks of being hacked and data mining could jeopardize "Tekken 7" itself and Bandai Namco Entertainment will not hesitate to go through with the plan.

"Tekken 7" will launch on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
