The recent sinking of a 62-foot sailing vessel named Ocean Quest in the Silver Banks fishing zone is apparently connected to the Bermuda Triangle mystery.

Among all the enigmas in the world, the Bermuda Triangle can justifiably be on top of the list. The Bermuda Triangle is situated at the seaside of Florida between Miami, Puerto Rico, and the Bermudas. It covers about 500 000 square miles of the Atlantic Ocean. It is also known as the Devil's Triangle because Bermuda was alleged known as the Islands of the Devils at one time. The coasts around the island are enclosed by precarious reefs that vessel ran into over the centuries.

There are many stories of vanishing ships, planes, and people. While some of these incidents have been explained, others remain a mystery.

One of most famous of these incidents is the disappearance of Flight 19 during a US Navy training exercise on December 1945. Up to 14 crewmen disappeared after sending various radio messages. A rescue plane that went in search of the Navy bombers also vanished. What happened to the mission is not known.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, a Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew saved two boaters after a 62-foot sailing vessel submerged in the Silver Banks fishing zone, located north of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Some people believe that aliens, electronic fog or another supernatural levitation must be the cause of the Bermuda Triangle mystery.
