Acclaimed developer Bethesda has remained mum on the development of "Elder Scroll 6", which has been long rumored for years now. But just recently, the studio may have dropped a clue hinting the addition of secret big feature to the next installment of the series.

Based on the current career listing at Betheda's parent company Zenimax Studios' website, the developer is on the hunt for a Senior Core Tech Engineer. While the job ad outlines a long list of the qualifications and skills standard to the position, it intriguingly includes that the candidate must have experience in developing for online multiplayer environment.

This has consequently sparked speculations online that this online multiplayer option will be introduced in "Elder Scrolls 6", the next open-world RPG from Bethesda. It is noted that the company's AAA title "Fallout 4" was already launched more than a year ago. Thus, it is deemd possible that the next Elder Scrolls video game will be released with a built in co-op mode, or perhaps a competitive multiplayer, Game Ranx reported.

On the contrary, Bethesda announced earlier that is currently working on three big games, one of which is designed for mobile platforms. Executive producer Todd Howard further said that two of these projects are larger than what the development team has ever done so far.

As E3 2017 fast approaches, fans will hear fresh official details surrounding these secret games at the prestigious event in June. Bethesda has already confirmed Bethesdaland, its very own live E3 showcase that is happening on June 11, Sunday.

Despite that it is a slim chance, many are still hopeful, though, that Bethesda will bring "Elder Scrolls 6" to the table after long years of waiting. Some of the games that will appear at Bethesdaland include the VR version for "Fallout 4" and "Doom", "Prey", "Wolfenstein: The New Colossus" and "Evil Within 2".
